What is a Homeschool Learning Pathway?
A homeschool learning pathway is a group of related courses focused on a specific field or area of interest, such as animal science, plant science, mechanical trades, or business and entrepreneurship.
Each homeschool pathway includes three components:
Explore
Introductory courses that build foundational knowledge.

Build
Advanced courses that deepen skills and prepare students for real-world application

Complete
A capstone project that documents applied learning in a meaningful way

Pathways bring structure to interest-based homeschool learning without removing flexibility. Students may begin with any course and apply completed coursework toward a pathway as interests grow.

Pathway Completion Requirements
To complete a homeschool career pathway, students finish:
-
One Explore course
-
One Build course
-
One Capstone Project
Additional coursework beyond the minimum requirements is encouraged, but not required.

Pathway Recognition
Students receive:
-
A certificate for each completed course
-
An official Pathway Completion Certificate after completing all three components
-
A graduation cord recognizing pathway completion
Students who complete additional coursework may qualify for distinction recognition.
